Two early goals in the third by the Flyers erased any doubt of the outcome as they put up a six spot over the final 20 minutes. After scoring on the power play five times in the contest Flyers head coach Andrew Leriger said the team’s offensive game is starting to gain efficiency.- Advertisement -“They’re moving the puck better. A little bit quicker, a little more crisp. The guys are accepting the pass a lot better and they’re getting shots on goal. Tonight is a night where we finally got some puck luck,” he said. While he stated being on the losing end of a lopsided game is easy to move on from if you’re Grimshaw, Leriger said for his team considering the circumstances of previously being down 3-0 in the series, games like the one on Saturday can be big for gaining momentum going forward.“Anytime you win like this, we dominated in all areas, it’s huge. We played good Thursday night in their barn too and I thought we probably should have had the win but we just couldn’t get them but I could see it turning a little bit Thursday and then tonight was just put the foot down,” he said.Advertisementlast_img read more
